Finally version 0.61 is out. And starting with this version UC will have the name jUCy (UC for short will stay) ... as it was time that the client finally got one. Though this has some ugly side effects .. Updating to this version will not work properly. So I recommend just downloading it anew.
Besides some large changelog, again there is now some Notepad-plugin available that should give you some notepad functionality like many are accustomed from other clients.

You will requirer Java JRE 6.0, there are 2 ways to install java under Linux one is downloading it one is getting it via repository, here is the repository way in Synaptic this is for Debian based systems.
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install sun-java6*
Mac OS X:
Unfortunately jUCy doesn't work under Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.4 both PPC and X86 but im sure in time that Quicksilver will work this problem out and get this excellent client working for the Mac OS X people.

- Client-Client Connections are no longer directly disconnected after a transfer finishes. Now DC++ segmented downloads work at normal speed from UC.
