uHub 2.7 Released

Post by Toast » 21 Mar 2009, 10:27

Well I thought it was time to do some frontpage stuff, so I'm gonna do a small post on uHub. Offset released a new version late last night with some bug fixes, that where in need of patching since we discovered them while chatting in uHub Development hub (bug #11). Along with the bugfixes there have also been features inserted for a more user friendly atmosphere. If you still think stuff is missing in uHub then you could go up on uHubs bug tracker and report what's missing and it might get inserted into future versions of uHub, since feedback is always appreciated by the developer.

And as always uHub is available for most common Operative system like Linux, Macintosh and Windows.

Changelog:
  • Fixed a nasty crash (bug #11), Thanks Toast for finding it.
  • Fix bug #9 - net_get_peer_address() failure on CentOS/Xen configurations.
  • Write a log message if an operator reloads the config file.
  • Don't print OK or ERROR when using '-s' or '-S' show the configuration.
  • Cleanup credential string handling
  • Made sure "!help" only display accessible commands.
  • Cleanup in-hub command parsing
  • Fix a possible crash if multiple INF messages are sent during login.
  • Rewrote the mainloop to not use a timer.
